I created topophilialb last Fall as a way to document my living in Long Beach, CA. Since then, I have experienced so much more than just bike racks and quirky things about the city. When I first moved to Long Beach in 2009, I didn’t think I was going to stay very long. Due to unfortunate circumstances, I was stuck in a situation that I couldn’t get out of in a city I was fresh meat to. 

Nonetheless, I deleted my old blog to start anew. Thank you for joining me on this journey of a place I’ve come to call home.
